Legal support in dealing with the seizure of cryptocurrency mining machines in Paraguay

1.11.2024

ARROWS successfully represented a client in a complex legal case related to the seizure of cryptocurrency mining machines by the customs administration in Paraguay.

The machines, sent to Paraguay for cryptocurrency mining, were seized at the border, resulting in the suspension of mining operations and financial losses. Our legal services included communicating with customs, analyzing international trade and customs regulations, developing a strategy to restore the machines to operation and minimize financial losses.

The team was led by Mgr. Vojtech Sucharda, senior associate at ARROWS International, whose specialisation in international law and dispute resolution was key to effective communication with the Paraguayan authorities and the design of a comprehensive strategy. JUDr. Zuzana Liškařová, an expert in international legal cases and corporate agenda, also participated in the project, using her experience in setting up contractual relations and legal analysis.

Thanks to the professional approach of our colleagues, we managed to minimize losses and quickly restore the operation of the mining machines, thus ensuring the continuity of the client's business and the satisfaction of its customers. This case once again confirms our ability to handle complex international legal challenges.
