Lucie Stržínková, is a legal intern at ARROWS and a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. In 2022–2023, she expanded her professional education during a one-year study abroad program at the School of Law at University College Cork in Ireland. The international experience she gained enables her to address complex legal issues within the context of European regulation and cross-border cooperation.
In her practice, she focuses primarily on providing legal advice in the area of addictive and regulated substances, including narcotic and psychotropic substances, psychoactive and psychomodulatory substances, and cannabis. She helps clients navigate the rapidly evolving legal landscape, structure their business models, and develop practical solutions to regulatory risks.
Lucie also specializes in the regulation of tobacco products, herbal products intended for smoking, and related products. She provides legal support in assessing the proper classification of products, their marketing, labeling, and distribution, as well as in obtaining the necessary permits for handling regulated substances and products.
Lucie also practices criminal law, both in defending individuals and in addressing the criminal liability of legal entities. She provides clients with legal support at all stages of criminal proceedings, including preliminary investigations, communication with law enforcement authorities, preparation of submissions, criminal complaints, and procedural defense. Her practice also includes assessing criminal law risks associated with business activities, particularly in regulated sectors where improper conduct can lead not only to administrative sanctions but also to criminal liability.
She regularly represents clients in inspection proceedings conducted by supervisory authorities, particularly the State Agricultural and Food Inspection Authority, regional public health offices, and other public administration bodies. She provides clients with support as early as the inspection phase itself, including in communicating with inspection authorities, preparing objections to inspection findings, and in subsequent administrative proceedings.
Thanks to her combination of regulatory, criminal, and contract law expertise, Lucie is an ideal partner for entrepreneurs operating in sensitive and strictly regulated industries who need legal support that is not only technically precise but also practical and commercially applicable.
In addition to regulatory and criminal law matters, Lucie also focuses on commercial law, civil litigation, and contract law. She assists clients with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, resolving business disputes, and establishing the legal framework for their business operations. In the event of disputes, she provides support in out-of-court settlements as well as in representing clients in court proceedings.
In addition to her regulatory practice, Lucie also specializes in immigration law. She provides legal support to clients on matters related to residence permits, visas, the employment of foreign nationals, obtaining citizenship, and related communications with government agencies. She assists both individuals and employers in addressing the practical implications of residence and immigration matters.
