Legal assurance of authentication services for works of art
ARROWS provided comprehensive legal advice to a client in preparing contractual documentation for a new service focused on authentication of works of art. This service involves the systematic assessment of the authenticity of works of art on the basis of well-defined procedures and the subsequent issuance of digital certificates confirming their authenticity. The certificates not only increase the credibility of the works on the market, but also enhance their value.
Our legal support included the drafting of general terms and conditions, the preparation of contractual documents providing the legal framework for the service and the analysis of legal requirements related to authentication and intellectual property protection. The collaboration also included ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations governing art trading and the technological aspects of digital certification.
