Representing a client in the recovery of a claim related to the valuation of real estate in insolvency proceedings

ARROWS provided legal representation to the client in filing a claim in insolvency proceedings and subsequent negotiations on its possible settlement.

The claim arose in connection with the performance of works leading to the improvement of real estate owned by a third party. Due to the low probability of satisfaction in the insolvency proceedings, we proceeded to parallel negotiations with the owner of the property, who is currently conducting a separate litigation over the property's value. If successful, the negotiations will involve partial compensation to the client for the work carried out.

Legal support in this matter was provided by Mgr. Jan Medek, an attorney specializing in shareholder disputes, transactions and strategic legal advice. Thanks to his experience with complicated legal relations and negotiations, he managed to choose an effective approach to protect the client's interests outside the insolvency proceedings themselves.
