Stanislav Karas serves as Chief Information Officer at ARROWS, where he is responsible for the firm’s information and technology strategy, data-driven management and the implementation of artificial intelligence across its day-to-day operations.
He has been part of ARROWS since February 2021 and works at the intersection of technology, data, finance, process management and the practical needs of legal and business-support teams. He holds a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Economics at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.
In his role, he translates the strategic objectives of the firm’s management into practical technology solutions, measurable performance indicators and effective internal processes. He oversees the development of internal information systems, business intelligence and management reporting – from KPI design, data architecture and measurement methodologies to the interpretation of results and recommendations for managing performance, capacity and profitability.
Artificial intelligence and digital transformation
Stanislav is one of the key members of the team driving ARROWS’ technological and AI transformation. He designs and leads the implementation of artificial intelligence across internal workflows and client-facing solutions, ensuring that AI is not treated as a series of isolated experiments but as a secure, standardised and sustainable part of the firm’s operations.
His work focuses on AI process architecture, the automation of legal and administrative activities, technology governance and the development of practical use cases. He works closely with legal teams, management, analysts and developers to create and implement tools that accelerate work, improve the quality of outputs and reduce unnecessary administration.
He has also contributed to the projects and technology initiatives that helped ARROWS receive the Innovative Law Firm of the Year award. His role is primarily focused on turning innovative ideas into functional solutions that can be adopted and used across the organisation.

Stanislav regularly speaks at professional conferences, workshops and corporate training sessions focused on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, legal technology and the practical use of technology in legal and business processes.
His presentations focus particularly on how organisations can implement AI safely and systematically, how its actual impact can be measured and how to distinguish solutions with genuine business value from short-term technology trends.
His approach combines analytical discipline, technological perspective and a strong understanding of operational reality. He identifies areas with the greatest potential value, defines how their impact should be measured and ensures that solutions progress from initial concept through implementation to successful adoption across the organisation.
