Successful Resolution of Apartment Ownership and Usage Rights Dispute
Aug 12, 2025

The law firm ARROWS represented a client in a complex legal dispute over an apartment, the essence of which was the question of whether a valid future purchase agreement existed between the parties and whether the defendant was using the apartment rightfully.
The case was complicated by the fact that the originally agreed price no longer reflected market conditions, and the defendant sought to maintain his position.
The legal services provided included negotiation and preparation of evidence materials, as well as the development of legal arguments clarifying the client's ownership rights. A key outcome was the achievement of an agreement under which the defendant vacated the apartment and it was confirmed that the client is its sole owner. The agreement also affirmed that the defendant has no right to use the apartment or to acquire it.
The case was handled by a team led by Mgr. Jan Medek, who specializes in resolving complex commercial and property disputes, including share transfers, securities law, and strategic negotiation.
Mgr. Bc. Kryštof Pažourek, a trainee lawyer specializing in private and labor law, also played a significant role, bringing precise legal analysis and support in preparing factual arguments to the case.
Thanks to the team's expert work, the matter was resolved amicably with an emphasis on the swift and effective protection of the client's rights.
