ARROWS lawyers took action against misuse of client's name
ARROWS Law Firm represented a client in a sensitive matter concerning the protection of personality rights, the core of which was the unauthorized use of his name and the creation of a fictitious website. Such conduct interfered with the client's good reputation and caused him harm.
The firm's legal advice included, in particular, the preparation and sending of cease and desist letters to the responsible persons, the quantification and enforcement of claims for compensation for damages, and the setting of the overall procedural strategy. An important part of the representation was strategic advice on the protection of personal rights in the online environment and the preparation of all necessary legal documents for out-of-court and court enforcement of claims.
The case benefited from the excellent work of our team; a key role was played by Mgr. Jan Medek, who primarily specializes in disputes between shareholders and corporate litigation (transfers of shares and stocks, fair exit, squeeze-out, and equalization).
