BOND ISSUERS LIGHTGATE AND SHIF18 IN INSOLVENCY
If you own bonds of LightGate, a.s. or SHIF18 s.r.o., you should pay attention. Both companies are in insolvency proceedings.

LightGate was primarily engaged in the production and sale of holograms, but also traded in various machines. In the past, the company issued so-called crown bonds in book-entry form. The total planned volume of the issue was CZK 100 million. The company issued CZK 100 million in bonds.
The company SHIF18 dealt with comprehensive eye care, sold spectacle frames and glasses, but also carried out examinations with the latest measuring techniques. The company issued a bond issue called "Expansion of the OPTI opticians network" to refinance its first issue in 2017 and to support the planned expansion with new stores.
Neither company, however, will follow through with its plans.
For creditors, the above means only one thing - if they are interested in getting at least part of their money back, they must file their claims in the insolvency proceedings. Late filed or not filed at all claims are not taken into account in the insolvency proceedings.
