Successful defense of a client against an employer's claim under a qualification agreement
An employer’s claim under a qualification agreement is not automatically valid merely because an employee leaves after receiving training. The employer must establish a valid contractual basis and prove recoverable costs; in the case described, ARROWS successfully defended a client against a claim exceeding CZK 100,000. This article shows what should be checked when such a repayment demand arises and how to build an effective defence.
