Successful harmonization of corporate statutes across Europe

ARROWS Law Firm conducted extensive research on corporate changes in more than thirty European countries for a client with the aim of unifying the articles of association and related corporate documents across the group. Our task was to define where and to what extent it is possible to deviate from Czech law (chosen as the reference standard) and, at the same time, to describe the necessary local differences in detail. The output was a comprehensible harmonization roadmap – a detailed overview of legal requirements in individual countries, recommended wording of key provisions, and practical implementation procedures for the client's internal legal management.

Professional discussing European corporate statute harmonization in a modern office setting.

The project was led by our colleagues with significant experience in corporate and international law:

Mgr. Vojtěch Sucharda, a partner at the firm, who has long focused on structuring corporate groups, cross-border transactions, and legal coordination within international projects.

JUDr. Zuzana Liškařová, who specializes in comprehensive corporate agenda and M&A consulting, including legal due diligence and amendments to founding documents in accordance with local requirements.

The combination of their experience has made it possible to create a harmonized framework that respects national regulations while maintaining a unified concept for the entire group. We would therefore like to express our sincere thanks to our colleagues, whose joint coordination and consistency have contributed significantly to the result.
